What Is Profhilo®?
Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment designed to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin, made from pure hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in your skin. What to Expect During Treatment
Your journey to deeply hydrated and firmer skin starts with a consultation, where our experienced aesthetic nurse, Lacey, will assess your concerns and tailor a treatment plan just for you.
● Treatment Plan: Typically involves two sessions, spaced four weeks apart
● Procedure: Profhilo® is administered through a series of tiny injections. Typically, five injection points are used on each side of the face.
● Duration: The procedure takes around 10 minutes.
● Comfort Level: Quick, minimally invasive, and virtually painless
● Recovery: Minimal downtime, you may have some mild redness and bumps in the skin for up to 24 hours.
● Results: Are gradual, with improvements in skin texture and appearance noticeable within a few days, and optimal results visible within 4 to 6 weeks. Effects are long-lasting, typically enjoyed for up to 6 to 12 months, with maintenance treatments recommended to prolong results.

Will my face look frozen?No! Our approach ensures natural-looking results, allowing you to maintain your facial expressions while softening fine lines.

What areas can be treated?Anti-Wrinkle Injections can be used to address lines and wrinkles on a number of different facial areas, including the forehead, eye area (crow’s feet) and frown lines. It may be injected to soften dimpling off the chin. See treatment areas below:

Is the treatment painful?Most clients experience only a mild pinching sensation and the procedure is very quick.

How often will I need treatment?To maintain results, most clients return every 3 to 4 months, but treatment plans can be tailored to your needs.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment?It’s best to wait at least 4 hours before applying makeup to avoid irritation.

Is Xeomin® different from other anti-wrinkle treatments?Yes! Xeomin® is a highly purified formula, which helps reduce the risk of resistance over time while still delivering consistent, effective results - read more here.

What are the possible side effects?As with most cosmetic injectables, common side effects from injections can include localised tenderness, inflammation, redness, itching, bruising and/or swelling. If you do suffer from these side effects, do not worry, they will disappear within a few days.
